John Grindrod (otherwise Grindred) guilty of the murder of his son, James, daughter, Mary, and wife, Jane by them feeding them arsenic mixed with treacle, in the parish of Salford on 14th September 1758. After execution his body hanged in chains on Pendleton Moor.
